anyone swapped steering wheel in b-14? need advise

well the chiltons just assumes you're replacing the steering wheel for oem so the directions end at the removal of the old steering wheel. this thing looks sort of like the spiral cable in the manual. i assume this comes off too. do i have to remove the trim pieces around the column to find out how to remove this? lemme know, car's just sitting out in the garage with no wheel. brrr...im warming up. it's so frickin cold out there heres the pics.

^sorry the above is blurry. this is just an exploded view of the whole assembly. red arrow pointing to spiral cable. THIS IS ON PG 8-13 in chiltons.

thanks for replying sean! it needs some adjustments but it seems the hub is stuck on tight once the nut from the steering column shaft is tightened. how should i go about removing the momo hub (oem steering wheel puller wont work of course) without damagng it? im waiting for warmer weather until i go at it again!

I have yet to tear into mine.
It's one of the last things I plan on doing.

to remove my momo hub, i took off the nut, screwed the steering wheel back on, and slowly wiggled the hub off the spline.
