true, over 3K but im taking over payment from my friend and he just paid like 800 for new tires and brakes yesterday so its all good, besides its faster than my current car for now and he told me that a carbon fiber Pit Fighter hood is on the way soon, should take off about 200 lbs. But for today im just gonna go clean my engine and pretty much detail the car now.

if you screw up, it can be very frustrating and expensive to fix... electrical problems dealing with water in all the wrong places can run in the many hundreds of dollars...
this is not a job that you do half assed... put some serious time into it and it will be great.. remember that some areas will not be cleaned because they NEED to be covered...
this isn't something you should be doing monthly or even 3-4 times a year, engine bays are not subject to the outside elements, they don't get THAT dirty...
there is only a few reasons you should clean your engine..
Show car..
Selling the car..
looking for an oil leak..
cleaning up an oil spill...
if you do not find yourself on this list, think "should i be cleaning my engine??"
on most older cars, ANY pressure can knock out sensitive wires or hoses because they could be corroded.
and a reminder... any chemical that makes it easier to break up heavy grease deposits in engines will strip the wax off your car... after cleaning, wash your exterior and rewax accordingly..
just be careful!!!
