Im not sure but a couple of years ago when my car was crashed into and they re-painted it, they told me not to wash it with high-pressure water, for a month, but that I could wash it with soapy water. So I assume its the same thing.
Orange peel? That's a surface problem. Probably wasn't cleaned very well before the first coat. Oil, or even fingerprints, can cause that. Buffing won't take that out, that I'm aware of. And if it did, you can be sure the paint itself wouldn't last long.

well, i guess its what i get for listening to my dad and taking it to his friends shop. according to the guy , the orange peel comes off with wet sanding and then waxing the car.
I dont think I have ever seen this...the orange peel?
cmon zac really? where the paint looks all dimples and rough, like the surface of an orange??? nissan and mercedes both roll out cars stock with heavy orange peel...

i never knew the actual name. most red nissans have them.
