get it off!

when my car was really dusty about 2 months ago, my stupid friend drew a picture on the hood in the dust. I just told him he was a dumbass and didn't do anything about it. I washed it about 3 days later and then waxed, but i still notice that its on there. You can kinda see a ghost image of it. I was wondering since it like 2 times and washed it countless times, how the crap am i gonna get that off there?! OR, should i just repaint my car with his blood? Thanks.

Like he said. Cut it with a mild abrasive paint cleaner, polish it, and then wax it. Their are systems made by plenty of companies for this. Meguiars makes one that you can do by hand or an orbital. If you know how to work a rotary, you'll be delighted with the overall results of the car. My brand of preference for anything car related it Gliptone.

no! 1000 will not give you back a shine. if you follow it by 2000 or higher it will. but i highly recomend against this. unless you know exactly what your are doing just buff it with a rotary. if you sand and sand to hard/ to much on any kind of edge or corner you will go strait through the clear coat and maybe even the paint

he covered the works. milwaukee tools are by far the baddest ass. the 7/9 in variable speed polisher is 11 amps. it's built to last. i have numerous tools by them and some are older than hell. you cant beat them. in your case i doubt an orbital will work but you can get a ryobi from home depot for like 20 bucks. even if it doesnt work for that, its good for waxing in the future.
