Ok, I've got some swirl marks on my B14. Do I need to wax it? How do I get rid of them?
Their are mild abrasives which will decrease the look of them. A weak solution but completely safe is Meguiar's Scratch X. Professional lines tend to do a better job for 2 reasons. 1) They are stronger and 2) They are generally designed for use with a machine. The truth is, only a rotary buffer can cause swirl marks and only a rotary buffer can FULLY remove them.

That GS27 Scratch Remover that used to be in the TV commercials works pretty well. I had some scratches on across my hood as well as along my right front fender and it took them out easily. Even took out a key mark where someone was "hating" and tried to key my car. The scratch remover runs about $7 at WalMart

I concur. For the money, it works reasonably well on finer scratches.
is there any way to make what i think are key marks look less like enormous scratches????
you need a good rotary buff, like nick is advising other people, but it wont be perfect, my corolla had a key mark and a place by me made it less noticeable...
