By interior, do you mean everything? such as dash, windows etc?

If so, here we go.

I use those Armor-All Regular wipes for all the plastic trimings and the dash. I prefer the wipes over the spray, as the spray can be over shot onto things you may not want Armor-All'd, such as fabric, windows, cd binders etc.

I also use the Armor-all window wipes for the insides of the windows, as they require way less effort than any product i've used so far, and again, you dont get overpray, you put it where you want it. Only problem i have with them, is on a hot day, they tend to dry out really quickly.

For the carpeting and seats, it depends on what the condition of them is. If its the end of winter, I'll drag out our Bissel SteamVac from the house n hit the entire car with Industrial Strength solusion n hot water from Shipp (i think thats the company, dont have time to check atm)

Now, for little stains n such, there's no need for the heavy artillery mentioned above, i usually just use one of those cans you can pick up with the little scrubber brushes on the head, they are usually yellow or blue from what I've used. And so far, they both seem to work the same. Dont remember brand names.

Usually i finish it off either with one of those scented tree things, and that depends on your likings, or, I will use Fabreeze Auto. But, dont use alot of this, especially if you have to keep the windows up. Another thing, when you use this, allow for some time to let it dry.

Well, I hope this helps ya, I gotta run to some brunch thing with the folks. Send me a message in AIM or MSN if ya have any questions.

NEVER USE ARMOR ALL. ever. this stuff is a joke. I detail cars and was trained and learned alot from a pro. Only thing I don;t know who to do is wet sand.

carpets: vac all dirt up, beat floors with a mallet ( unless you have a steam cleaner) till dirt stops coming up. ( repeat if needed)

stain removers. ( pre spray the rugs with castrol super clean) MIST.
take bucket mix a good dose of castrol super clean and your typical laundry detergent, then throw in your on car scent. Mix with warm water
for interiors ( and many other area's) use castrol super clean. make foam as well with this.

Get a scrub brush and a mit ( car wash mit)
soak mit and place on carpet and scrub (use brush to scrub carpet as well)

Vac all water and suds up. Do entire car. ( you may find some stains may resurface. this is normal. get them again at a later time. ( scrub carpets with an old towel to surface dry and lift any other dirt in fibers.

( once interior is done) crack your two front windows about 2inchs. BLAST THE HEAT RIGHT TO THE FLOORS TILL DRY. don't close windows if you do, you will steam them up.

DASH, DOORS ETC:

take a spray bottle, mix about an inch of cleaner and the rest water ( depending on how dirty your dash, doors, etc are.
you want to get a cloth or a pad that has smooth netting around it. scrub y9our dash and what not. Take air gun and dry cloth and wipe clean.

if you can not see the grain of the interior, it's clean.

seats you can do A MIST on them. ( DO NOT SOAK THEM) take anold towel and let sit for a min or so. place hand in towel and rub back and forth. repeat if stains still there. ( do headliner, seats, dash, panels etc with castrol)

tires ( soak with castrol) scrub with old mit ( let stand for min or so) make sure you use the mist so the cleaner hangs and drags downward)
hose off.

dressing: I use either MORE SHINE LESS TIME OR MEQUIRES HOT TIRES.
becareful, some will brown your tires. ( armor all foams, the clear stuff that comes in a clear bottle)

glass cleaner: invisable glass

don't think i forgot anything

old thread, but is there any type of product that you can spray on your seats that will make them resist stains, like that Stain Defender thing Dockers pants have.
i have cloth seats, not a fan of leather

For cleaning my leather seats and dashboard, plastic panels, etc.

I use an old toothbrush and dip it in detergent diluted in water then brush the whole part by sections with it.

Then I use a clean cotton wipe to wipe off the dirty water/foam.

Check out my Sentra cardomain site to see the results

YES,
There IS.
ANY Fabric store will carry the QUALITY 3M protector spray...
And. Do stay away from Armor All. Water/Silica has never mixed well.
When combined with vinly/propel plastics and foam, we Got a cracken and a splittin ahead O US..

After reading all this, its probably best just to use armor all. i also use armor for my maxima and pathfinder. Like he said DO NOT use the spray....use the wipes. they have wipes for everythings you need to clean.

i work AT a detail shop... i only recommend armor all wipes AFTER the car has been professionally reconditioned, or go with Vinylex, made by lexol, it is a much better product, and protects as well as cleans while notr giving that stupid shine and glare you get from armor all... but Vinylex is a apin to put on, they only make it in spray form and if you do it wrong it looks shitty... you need to have a compressed air supply to make it come out perfect...

ps, vinylex will work great on tires too, cleand and shines and protects them, but its water based so it wears off in the first rain... but for shows etc... it looks great, makes tires look brand new!
