I've been using the Griot's Garage Fine Hand Polish and Machine Polish 3 lately at work. Excellent products.

They can be a bit expensive, but if you really care about your car it's the only way to go.

After talking to the custom hot rod guys, these were the two most common companies mentioned.

Well Sean, my comp finally let me access your car and I now know why you insist on using such expensive products...very nice ride and very nice but expensive products. Have you ever worked the Meguiars NXT line? We generally use the Medallion line because of its cost and effectiveness on cars which are in rather good condition and a variety of products on cars which show a bit more oxidation or suface defects.

I have not had the chance to try the NXT line from Meguiars. My car has been in a state of evolution for quite some time now....
I have used the Medallion line, and was very happy with the results.

The Griots stuff is expensive, but there is a reason that the guys that roll old exotics / hot rods use it....IMHO, it's the best.
