det installed in my 200sx

I just finished my part of installing a bb det into my 98 200sx. We ran into many problems but finally our part is done. I just towed it to Diablo performance in Red Deer alberta for intercooler piping work and fine tuning. WE took a ton of pics (lots were messing around, probably due to the mass amounts of beer consumed).
Here is the link for anyone interested.

You'll have to copy the link then paste. But it will work.

Maybe we should arrange a calgary meet in May.

Swweeeet. That's awesome. Is that the first DET swap in a B14 in Alberta? What are the future plans for it?

I'm pretty sure it is. I was planning at one point to do it. But again. That's too much when you have the GA16DE. Which soon will be turboed.

Good job Dan. Can't wait to see it in person. You'll have to take me for a ride!

I'm hoping it will be ready this weekend. Just waiting for the intercooler piping to go in. They got the engine running smoothly without reading any MIL's.

Awesome. That's a good news. I can't wait to do my install, and engine rebuid. Just because of this bastard that broke into my car I have to delay the all thing.

Hey Max, have you talked to the police recently? My buddy got his deck jacked but they nailed the guy who did it. They found like 50 decks on the guy, maybe theyll have yours too???

Yeah I've seen the article in the paper that they had caught a guy on Thursday but my car was broken into on the Friday. SO my chance are from slim to none. I called the police officer that was in charged, and he never has return my call. Maybe I should try again this week.

MAx

By the way, next time you need some mechanic help for your car you can ask me. What you are currently getting fix, I've done already on the same engine. And trust me it would have been way cheaper.

Its worth a shot anyway to get your deck back. I know what its like you get your car busted into. Someone broke into our family minivan and stole her purse at sikome Lake down in the south here. its hella gay and the cops dont help much.

Thanks man, Ill give you a call if i need help or somehting. The Sentras running great now thoguh ($1200 later... ) but Brasso seems to have done a good job.

Ok so now the engine is together and intercooler is in. I have some fuel management issued to look into and I have to relocate my battery to the trunk but the engine runs pretty stong when to boost comes on. Here are some more pics of the near complete swap. Yes it did take some time but oh well. Diablo performance products did the intercooler work for me and did an awesome job.
