I just got this car a mont ago, it has 53,000 miles on it. I don't drive often, but when I do it is on the highway. Still I get mileage around 20mpg, even on the highway. I was just wondering if this was normal, or if maybe I need to replace the fuel filter, and if you think so, where is the fuel filter?
Need more info. But try all the dumb little things first. Like changing the oil,air in tires, air filter, spark plugs, (on the Spec-V the ome are good for up to 60,000 miles), vacuum lines, and oh new Sentras don't need there fuel filter changed often unless you get you fuel in Mexico
Do you use 91+ octane?
What RPM are you at when on highway speeds?
What highway speeds do you cruise at?
Have you ran an injector cleaner recently?
Is your air filter dirty?
Have you checked spark plugs for fouling?

Yeah, I checked the injectors, they are OK, I checked the vacuum lines and the PCV valve, replaced the spark plugs, and cleaned the K&N. and While I live in Texas, I dont drive my car to Mexico, because my insurance dosent cover me against theft there.

I am usually going 70 -80 on the highway, so I would say between 2500 and 3500 RPM. I'm guessing the EPA rating is at 60-65 and above that my mileage will go to crap, and that there is nothing wrong with the car, but with my driving.

Oh yeah, I use 93 when it is offered, I used to have an M# to it is pretty much habit at this point to over pay for gas.
