Need help with new 2002 Spec-V

Whats up, this is my first time on this forum... I'm 18 years old and I'm just about to buy a 2002 Spec-V... just wondering what everyone would suggest for performance upgrades.. like what brands and upgrades are best for this car. Also, i wanted to get a new exhaust, what i was looking for is a duel, but i was told that robs more power than a single, is that true? Thanks, any help will be great

Search around and read the sticky in the QR25 engine section. That is the engine in the car and there is a general tuning guide at the top of the page which covers all performance upgrades. If you have any other questions, then feel free to post them.

As far as a dual exhaust, it is virtually impossible due to the car's layout unless you do duel side exhausts which I have personally seen.

I would also look around to see what you may be getting yourself into by buying a used 2002. Be sure to make sure the car has had all preventative maintenence and that it has been well cared for in the past as the 2002s are most suseptable to defects.
