I think so...I've seen about 10 or 12 black hooded cars at my college...mostly Honda...but I think they're too cheap to buy a CF hood, so they're looking at using the faded black hoods to create that look.

Edit: I'm really digging that orange colour for your spec. It looks great!

That orange is a good color not to dark and not to bright.

Looking at it closer, a fairly good giveway on the chop is the tails. The tails are supposed to be a darker shade of red, not closer to a red-orange. Also, there were some parts on the body that look darker than the others. Looking at the front, it looks more red than orange, which is also a giveway. I do understand by you doing that you were trying to create the effect of a darker color. Nice try, though.
