basically the engine dies. it happens randomly. been in the shop 4 times already, the dealer simply resets the idle. they cant seem to find the root of the problem. any body have the same problem?

more specefics? have you cleaned your fuel system, checked the spark plugs, checked alternator, assured your maf is allright? that is just a few possibilities. have you run any type of diagnostics on the car? what year and model is your car and is it modified?

diagnostics have been performed at the dealership and the fault code they get tells them to reset the idle. everytime. year, 02 model, SE-R. not modified. so its not the spark plugs or any of that. its the electrical system, at least thats my best guess.
