For a manual transmission car it is 15-18%
For an auto trans car it is 20-25%.

The stock SR20DE is rated at 140BHP. Mike Kojima dyno'd a stock SR20DE and got 117WHP. That's a 16% loss.

either one could be true. the 04s dyno higher than the previous years, but I've seen numbers vary in Spec V's stock from 136whp to 152whp. The car is very strange...all depends on how it's broken in and any number of variables including weather, gas, etc.

so if ur lookin to get the most out of a spec, get an 04,break it in really good, and use 93 octane...sounds good to me ..also last night i seen an 04 spec-v and right next to it was a 98 integra, they were in the car talkin..the integra had a cat-back exhaust and im pretty sure he had a header..it sounded like rice, the spec only had a muffler and it sounded pretty good..
in ur opinion what exhaust sounds best on the spec?

Magnaflow is nice. NISMO is a little quieter but still sounds good. If you have a catlass header, any exhaust should sound mean.
