Another SES question

Hi all New to the forums. I have a question which I hope wasnt covered before. I have a 2003 Ser SpecV and the only mod I have on the car atm is a CAI. My Service Engine Soon light turned on earlier this morning while driving home from work. I have had the CAI installed for at least 3 months now with no problems so I dont think this caused the light to go on. I did however drive through some crazy rain on the parkway last night but didnt go through any deep puddles, I didnt know if that could pose a problem or not for the SES light to go on. I was hoping someone could shed some light on it for me.

Thank you. Jamie

Just drove it again and the light went off, strange

did you fill up with gas? The SES light will come on if the gas cap does not have a good seal. If not, next time it comes on go to the part store and get the code pulled.

I hear this a lot. "I have a check engine light" When you get a check engine light there is something wrong with the ecu and usually it is something simple. Go to Auto Zone and get the code they will tell you exactly what is wrong and probably even how to get it fixed.
