2002 6 speed gearing

My g/f and I just purchased a Spec-V. We were just wondering if 5th and 6th were both overdrive gears, as 4th seems the same speed as in a normal 5 speed.

This article http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/r...0112scc_sentra/ seems to indicate that, but is it accurate?

Thanks,
Matt

your link does'nt work....

With as much tourqe as the car has I'd say that the overdrive gears feel like acceleration gears... get on the gas in 6th at about 80, it moves!

I would venture to say that since the ratios are so close all the way through it is conciveable that 5th and 6th are both technicaly OD gears in the sense that the gear is turning less than once per engine rotation.

We got a sliver one as well. We think that it really sets the car off. We've been driving around every night 'cause its so much fun. This is my g/f's first standard car and she is loving it!
