I have heard a lot of negatives about the 6 speed in the spec-v. I have only had the chance to drive the 5 speed base se-r. Is it really that bad? If so whats the problems and are they that big of a deal??
Well they caused enough probs that Nissan re did it for the 2003 models, longer 1st and 2nd gear, and from what I've heard through the rumor mill it's alot smoother also.
i have to admit that the gears sometimes dont shift all that smoothe sometimes times but the rest of the car makes up for that tiny flaw. The honest truth is that it just takes a little tweeking and a little to get used to. but it really isnt bad.
