HKS cat back

What are some of the dyno numbers on the HKS cat back for 2000 sentra se.

Haven't seen any, but an exhaust is an exhaust, there really isn't much difference in power gains between any of them (of comparable size). I would guess maybe 3whp. It's the catback I plan on getting this summer, I've heard only good things about it.

while it may be overstated, www.stylincompacts.com has the type v muffler with a removable silencer which adds '5 to 9 hp' when removed. 2.5in in, 4in out (fart can?). if a silencer makes that range of difference, a good cat-back prolly adds at least this much over stock, no?

Yes that is very very overrated, on a sentra I wouldn't be surprised if that muffler only added 1whp.
