Anyone know where i can get a deal on 4 tires for a SPEC-V. I live in NY and my tires are all bubbled up and the car rides like crap. I need some new tires. Any recommendations please reply.

do some research on different tires, it all depends on your budget but Falken Azenis, Yoko AVS ES-100, Falken FK-451, Kumho Ecsta Supra are all nice tires

I live in NY too. My reccommendation is to not only buy tires, but buy some 16" rims. I know many people with 17"s that buy new tires every couple of months because of the bad roads.

I had 750 miles on my '03 Spec-V and I blew a tire on a pothole.

$142 to get 1 Cooper tire locally in the Albany, NY area.

I think I will get a couple tires from the Tire Rack just in case this happens again.

If any of my rims get damaged, I will get an aftermarket set of four (4) 16" wheels.

You might want to think about putting all season M+S tires on if you have to drive the car in the snow. The OEM tires that come on the car are totally useless in the snow so I got me some Michelins...

the first letter is a max speed rating, there are places online that explain what speed each letter stands for. The R stands for radial

Don't get the same tires, get better ones. Depending on what you get, 4 tires could be anywhere from $350-$800 mounted

At an NTB near my apartment, the mounting fee is about 7 bucks a tire, so...

Getting 4 Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712's

4 x $84.00
1 x $30 (Roughly for Shipping)
1 x $30 (Roughly Mounting/Balancing)

Total: $396.00

For the 712's... which are some pretty good tires, IMHO, you can't beat $400 for 4 new tires... especially considering the size for the SpecV.

Exclamation

Yes, the stock tires (the size, not necessarily the brand) suck in the snow. I've already driven in a couple of storms and taking off from a dead stop in the snow and ice is a real joy.

This fall, I'm gonna get 4 plain Sentra rims (there must be millions of them out there) and mount 4 Nokian Hakkapelita snow tires ... the best snow tires money can buy. I did this with my Honda Civic and it was some of the best money I ever spent!

I leave these on for 4 months out of the year. it doesn't really cost extra (except for the rims) as the summer tires will last that much longer because they are sitting in the garage.

the stock tires...the Continental Contisport Contacts are good...but only on perfectly dry, clean, and warm road conditions, in another words they are bloody Useless in all but the best track conditions/weather. they have no traction in rain and its scary to drive with them in all but the slightest drizzle.....my shoes have better grip than these pieces of crap in rain/sleet/snow. anyway...they are loud as crap from 50mph on....and they are deafening at 70-80mph on a highway cruise......my family is moving soon and i gotta drive my Spec-V more than half way across the Country and i'm getting myself Yokohama AVS ES100's cuz i cant stand to think about hearing engine noise blocking Tires for 2 straight days.....oh by the way any recommendations for tires? i'm getting the stock size ones so i'll need a model that comes in that size...i'm trying to find tires that fit in the AVS ES100 and Falken 451 range.......
