AEM CAI Question?!!!

I have the AEM CAI and installed it a couple of weeks ago. I have 1 major problem!! The hing that hooks it onto the side of the car keep coming off! I guess it shakes looks and slides out. I've screwed that sh*t in as far as I can get it, but the screw is one that won't screw in all the way and I don't really wanna weld anything on the end of that hook, but that's the only thing I can think of to get it to stay on. Any ideas???

I own an AEM CAI too and have not had this problem (haven't heard of it either). Is your CAI the one with only one arm for the screw, or does yours have two? The only thing i can think of is to take out that bottom section (with the hinge arm on it), and then reinstalling it. Maybe its just mis-aligned....but then again you may have done this already, in which case i have no idea how to help

Yeah, I don't know about gluin it down. My AEM has 1 arm for the screw. I might just buy a new screw that can be screwed in all the way. I think I have my filter on too high up under the fender, may have to install that filter again, but I could also have my attachments on too far also, just wanted to make sure the sh*t didn't come apart. So that's probably my problem, but instead of doin all that I might just buy a new screw that will screw down all the way.
