Thumbs up Low Price New Spec V's!

Hey all,

I just got a new Spec V last week (molten silver, w/ side airbags and abs) for $16,715 out the door! (includes tax, tags, and title). Of course that includes the $500 rebate from manufacturer, and a $500 College Student Discount from Nissan Financing company. Anywho, for those of you out there who are lookin' to get a new Spec V (and live in the Maryland/Virginia/D.C area), check out this web site. It's got some great prices, and the sales rep was really nice.

That pisses me off... 2.9% APR on them too (if approved), AND a 17k price tag? I paid 19.5K with 4.9 APR. Damn it. I'm never buying from Nissan or its dealership again. Trading this thing in is only worth 13k at the most. WTF?!?

Its a STI or an EVO for me in a couple years. Almost died in the snow a couple days ago. Its partially my fault prolly so I'm not doggin on the car (just the tires).

Drivin in the Snow/Ice

Hey i know what you mean,

I was driving back from snowboarding, and there was a patch of ice i failed to see (coming down the mountain, Initial D style). anywho, almost went into a ditch. luckily there was no car on the road and i was able to swerve back on the road in the nick of time. The tires on these things just aren't made for any type of winter driving (maybe sleet). All in all tho, i still think this car is a bargain, even if you paid the full price. Evo is nice tho...wish i had that kind of money.

We've got those summer tires on there stock. Great on spring/summer weather wet and dry road, but you'll die on fall/winter weather wet, icy and snowy road.

Since it's pretty much spring time now, my tires will be okay, but heck, come fall/winter I'm gonna have to cough up for some all seasons on a separate set of 16s.

Actually I did buy my SE-R from a local dealer here in Raleigh, NC. It was reduced because it had sat on the lot for to long, their was another one just like it but it did have the sunroof and audio but it was new to the lot and was selling for $19,700.
Their were other SE-R's for low prices but they were the 5 speed edition and a few useless auto's.

Check out Nissan's web site, Nissandriven.com , you can build your own car there and they will tell you what options they have for the sunroof. But as far as the crappy ass radio coment, have you even heard the stock stereo with the audio fanatic package. It's pretty damn good. I use to compete in SQ and SPL contests with my other car. For the money, and if you dont want to mess with a new stereo, its awesome. Good sound quality and decent bass.
