Post 250 HP from the QG 1.8??

I went to a local speed shop here in El Paso a couple of days ago and I was talking to one of the guys that works there and I was aking him how much hp I could make from putting a turbo on my 1.8 and he said at least 230 if not 250 is this misleading info or is it true and can it be done?? they are a very respectable and well known place here and they have had many cars featured in lots and lots of magazines so I'm just wondering is this info correct or are they lying to me to get my business???

Id say that is pushing it with 250. 200 hp sounds more like it becuz the 1,8 engine can only take so much stress on it.Putting a turbo on the spec v would be like 300 so to say that it would only get50 more hp than the lowest engine is saying alot
