01 Sentra SE 2.0L problem after changing starting motor

Hi,

My car has suddenly starting giving problems. Short story, went to walmart for oil change. They told me battery is not taking load and I need to get changed. I changed battery myself but car will not start. I took it to mechanic, he found starter motor not working. After change of starter motor, I find that car is starting fine but for 200 meters or so there is engine hesitation as if fuel is not reaching engine but after that car runs fine. This happens only when engine is cold.

If anybody could tell me what are these symptoms before I go back to shop that will be very helpful.

There is no SES light.

Thanks,

Update:

Problem went away when I took the car for a longer spin on highway. It looked computer was not behaving properly as battery was disconnected for couple of days.

Thanks
