2004 1.8s Evap Valve & Brakes

Hey all... I'm hoping you can offer some help and maybe a bit of advise as to what I can expect.

First I got a code a while back about my evap system. Now when I fill the gas and the check engine light is on (it sometimes goes off, and I assume when it's on the valve is stuck) and I try to fill the gas tank it will only allow me to fill really slow and will stop all of the time as if it's full. I assume the valve is stuck nearly closed. I need to replace this and cant find the part anywhere except a dealer. Do you have any idea what I should expect for cost, and can anyone tell me what it's going to be like to replace it? Is it as simple as unscrewing the old one and putting a new one on? I assume the whole cannister/valve assembly will be replaced.

The second issue is that I've just started hearing some squeaking from my front right wheel. It doesnt start when I move right away, and usually starts after I hit the brakes and then will come and go throughout the drive. It seems to be a little louder when turning to the right, and if I hit the brakes it'll quiet or go away. I assume my brakes are in need of repair. I've done this before, but not on this car. Is there anything tricky I should be aware of? It isn't ABS, so I assume not. Just the standard pins, & such to pull the pads, then taking off the rotors, etc.?

Thanks for the help.
