Maintenance Schedule and Warranty

Hey,

I have a 2007 Sentra 2.0S. The car has about 30k and 1 year old. Recently I noticed movement against the pedal and the foot rest (left foot). I can feel the pedal shift slightly when I straighted the wheels out from a 90 degree left or right turn. Any idea what that could be? Also does the car maintenance need to be done at the Nissan dealership, or is proof of the check from another mechanic sufficient? I was doing my own maintenance till now, but now I need to take the car in for a checkup to ensure nothing is wrong with the suspension. Any suggestions?

Cheers,
carlo

I don't know anything about the 'new' Sentras, but if my car was doing what you describe and it was under warrenty, I'd get it to the dealer as fast as I could.

Maintenance can be done anywhere, but you'll need some written proof that it was done if there's a warrenty dispute. If you do things yourself like oil changes, save the reciepts for the oil, filters, etc.
