2007 Sentra, Canadian/USA Intelligent Key

So, I'm looking on the nissan.ca website, and I'm looking on the nissanusa.com website to look at the 2007 Sentra. (I know, everyone says they're ugly, I don't care, I like it)

Anyway, nissanusa.com shows the Sentra coming with the Intelligent Key system, while nissan.ca says the car comes with a remote door opener.

Did they seriously change the key system for the Canadian car?? That's a pretty cool option for them to cut out isn't it? I'm hoping the site is just wrong or something...are other differences like that? I think Canadians get ripped off with cars...this sucks.

From nissanusa.com >> 2007 Nissan Sentra Specifications - Nissan USA
Intelligent Key keyless ignition and entry system
(Xtronic CVT only)

nissan.ca >> Nissan Canada | Sentra | Specifications
Remote keyless entry with trunk release

I can't say if they will or won't offer it, but most companies offer what the think will sell. Maybe Nissan thinks it wouldn't be a big selling point in Canada? Maybe Canadian insurance companies think it's a bad idea? Maybe the Canadian government doesn't like it? Could be any number of reasons.

Ya, the reason behind it is no doubt lame.

I went for the 6spd anyway.
