so you're thinking of getting an auto, but you want to turbo it and get 350hp??? lol. that's going to blow up a lot sooner than the manual spec

the parts are for the most part interchangeable

but fyi, there are manual 02-03 se-r's with a 5 speed. the 04-06's are all auto

k well, the se-r auto tranny is going to blow up.....so it would be much easier for you to just get the spec to begin with. i wouldn't want to mess with tranny swaps and whatnot

First, you need to get a DE-STROKER kit for the QR25, not a stroker kit. The 2.5 has a 100MM stroke which is way too much for a turbo motor to keep up with, also causing a compression ratio way too high for boost.

Second, all of the internals will need to be replaced.( And I mean all!) This means bearings, rings, and basically anything else that moves that is not included with the de-stroker kit.

Third, get ready to fabricate, fabricate, fabricate. When nissan stuffed a 2.5 Altima motor into a Sentra they had no intention of someone stuffing turbo pipping and an intercooler in their with it.

Last, but should be first, take out a small loan, cause last I knew the 2.5 turbo kit went for 3,500 USD, and the destroker kit ( Which you are a fool if you dont install first ) goes for about 1500 USD. Then factor in the fact that you said you dont know too much, which means you'll need someone to install it all for you. Even if they are REALLY nice to you, that will most likely cost almost as much as the turbo kit.

Sorry for the novel, but I was trying to make you understand that if you want to turbo your V,it will run you as much as just buyinbg two of them.

O.K., I did a little research, and I would be willing to put together a parts list of things you will need, where to get them, and how much they will be if you are serious. This has been done before, so all of the parts are out their, but if you dont know what you will need it can be confusing. Let me know, and I'll give you all the help you need. Why? Cause that's the kind of guy I am.

Will do. Give me about a week, I am trying to set up an ebay store for a friend of mine...but this means I will be online quite a bit so I will piece it together as I go. I'll do eactly as you said as a matter of fact. I was even thinking of figuring out kit prices and piecing them together to compare. Either way I'll let you know as I progress. If you know of anyone else looking in to doing this I intend to make a how to kind of thing for this when I am done with the research so everyone else can benifit too.

Also, out of curiosity, how many psi are we shooting for here? If you want to go with high boost, you WILL need to go with quality parts. Believe me that when they say that you get what you pay for they mean it.
