B & M short shifter problem

I installed a short shifter a few months ago, and last week my shifter rod broke. I'm fairly certain the shiter did it, also, i've heard most people have shifter cables, where as I have rods, so i was wondering whats going on with that, and if it is relatively easy to replace the rods.

I went through that same problem. my linkage snaped in half also. The dealership I went to said it was backordered and I was out of a car for a month but ended up buying a new spec-v by then. Its bullshit! Do you have an 04 or newer?

i have an 03 and was hoping to be able to fix this myself, or is it a big problem?

Those B&M shifters were for the 03 and below.....guess there just a defect. I dont see it being a hard thing to fix if you can find the part.
