Installing new brake pads on 2002 se-r ?

Hi, first post here =)

I did an engine degrease and wax, took wheels off, scraped off the rust off my calipers and painted them red to match the car (yeah yeah i know, i got sick of rust colour).

Priced out front pads for car, 45 bucks canadian for monroe premium brakes...are these good or should i go with the hawk brand (around same price i believe) i dont do any hard driving, its mostly highway miles and some city driving

question 2 is how do i get the freakin caliper off is it floating, fixed, sliding, etc?

i seen 2 bolts that look like they should come off, canadian car...14mm socket i believe, but theyre rusted on pretty good i think...if someone has a picture of their caliper they could post which bolts to take off? or do the pins simply come off.... Thanks!

changed pads out for hte monroe premium ones, took the nissan hitachi anti squeal pads and the old brake pads off, seem to be in excellent shape but look like they had hardened...put new ones on...could have had it done in 30 minutes had i known it was just the 2 bolts and not the 2 bigger rotor bolts (was rusted so i couldnt tell if it was 1 or 2 pieces!) used piece of wood and c clamp and put piston back to stock position, put caliper back on and away i went...good to go!

ps if you wanna do it easy, just undo the bottom bolt, swing the caliper up to rest gently on edge of rotor, that way itll be easy to install new pads and then just push piston back and swing caliper cover back down and rebolt into place =) brakes are workin good
