Hi, I just picked up a 02 SE-R and I was wondering if there was a way to disable the remote trunk release. I live in an area where smash and grabs are too common especially for cars that look like ours. Have any of you done this?
Pulling the fuse may be effective but easy to overcome. The rear seat release is only accessible through the trunk so that's covered but I wish the engineers would've made the release functional only when the key is in the column.

On the 03 theres a little latch (valet switch) that you push down to do that.
When you open the trunk it's right under where the trunk latches.
