What's hot for the B15(newbie go easy)

Had this car since it was new and haven't done much with it. I don't know much about these cars specifically. I am a VW owner and tuner so I know the basics of tuning, but just want some opinions on what mods make good HP and what brands. I want to stay NA for now so fire away.

First off, you should specify what kind of engine you have. It could be a QG18DE or a SR20DE. From what I can tell for what you put under car is a 01 SE meaning that you got the SR20DE engine. You should check the SR20DE section of the forum. The easiest mods for NA are CAI, Header, Exhaust. 3 easiest and probably the least cost for power gains.

CAI look under hotshot.com for their cais, header...not sure about the sr20's. Exhaust you can go greddy, stromung, hks, or a shop muffler can make you one for cheap.

Thanks for the help. i am aware of these mods. I'll begin looking for an exhaust and header soon. I'm curious what to do after these mods. Also my car needs motor mounts and I hear talk of inserts. What are they referring to. Poly? Who sells good stuff besides Nismo, Greddy, and JWT? Are there any smaller companies that sell good products?

if you need poly products, check with energy suspension. if you have the money, you may want to look at a turbo, but if you're like me it just hurts your feelings seeing the price of a kit.
