Window stuck

I have a 2001 Nissan Sentra SE. The drivers's side window motor starting getting slow. Then it started getting difficult to close. Now it is stuck down.

I am taking it to be repaired later today. Does anyone know if this is a typical problem with Sentras?

Also, shouldn't this be covered under my warranty? I have 30,000 miles on it.

Yes, warranty should cover it from 3 years/36,000 miles.

Have heard of a few people having window motors replaced, but doesn't seem to be a widespread or common problem.

i dont know if it is a typical problem, but mine is doing the same thing, but on the passenger side. i can only bring it down about 2 in. or it will stick. i need to take mine in as well.

Yes this is a typical problem mine has been replaces 3 times. It gets old after a while so be prepared.
