No Heat?

Hey guys,

My dad has an 03 Sentra with the 1.8L engine and automatic transmission (it has about 27 000km on it). As of late with the colder weather the car has been showing a really odd problem.

It will be getting amazing heat, then all of a sudden the heat will completly cut out. I mean there's nothing. This seems to happen at some really inopportunate moments and it's getting really annoying. The car is still under warranty and it's getting taken in pretty soon for service. I'd just like to see what you guys think. Someone at the dealership said it was the clutch fan or something of the sorts?

As well, are there any ways to check to see if all the recalls (if there are any) were done to this vehicle?

Thanks,
Marc

most probably engine cooling problems.

Turns out the pulley was warped.. which would explain the squeeling sound. We should be getting it back tomorrow
