where is the adjuster for the parking brake?

I had my car up on a hoist at work today for an oil change, and decided to tighten up my parking brake. It goes up a rather ridiculous amount and kind of pisses me off. It says its supposed to be self-adjusting, but it isn't doing that great of a job. I'm used to audi's and VW, that have a little hand-adjustable twist cover on the lines by the gas tank. I looked at my lines and they went up under a heat shield and apparently right to the lever with no adjuster that I could see. Do I have to remove the whole center conslole just to get at the adjuster? I hope I just missed it and it isn't under there. That would suck. If it is, any ideas on how to get to it easily?

I'm not exactly sure if it's here in the 93 but try taking out the center console and about the area where your right elbow is when driving there sould be the cables and all you do is tighten down the nuts. The even dumber part about it is that you have to yank the shit out of the parking brake to get the center console back on. It doesn't stretch it back out but it kind of defeats the purpose.

I appreciate the resonse. I kind of assumed it would be that bad. I must say that it is sad that I had an actual question that hadn't been discussed, yet it took like 3 weeks to get a response. It seems that everyone is busy telling newer people who don't follow the rules to post in the proper forum or that there is no "chip" for the qr etc., that actual questions dont get adressed.
Just my 2 cents.
