04-05 Spec V rims?

If I put these on my 1.8, would it make the acceleration and braking worse? Or should I go with the rims that come standard with the 1.8S with the package? (I want to stick with OEM, or possibly put the Nismo rims on there!)

It will make braking better. Acceleration is hard to say. Chances are the Spec V rim is heavier, but you are getting better initial traction. Acceleration differences will be minimal. Braking improvement and obviously handling will be very noticable. You can get Spec V rims dirt cheap and the NISMO wheels for about 250 a pop.

I was able to get my nismo rims/suspension through my dealership. I paid $285 for the wheels and $1000 for the suspension. I didnt want to deal with some place that would ship them to me and have me install them elsewhere. I know I didnt get the best price on them but my dealership gave me a break on the install, so overall it broke about even.

That isnt bad at all actually. 800 shipped is about the cheapest you can get the NISMO S Tune suspension from anywhere and considering you only paid 200 more from a dealer, I would call that a pretty decent price. As far as the wheels, you will pay 285 anywhere or more if you factor in shipping. Good deal from the dealers.

Those are just list prices though, but the good thing about dealer installed parts is that you get the warranty in hand.

I wouldn't save money going to the dealer for parts, but maybe I just should haha.
