I was putting in a short throw shifter and I was taking off the converter shield and one of the bolts broke and half of the piece is in the converter bracket. And when I drive it makes a load rattling noise. How do I get the bolt out or should I make a new hole? Could you guys please help me out?

you might need to drill the bolt out and re-tap the hole.

Either that or just remove the heat shield all together. I dove my sentra for 3 years with out the shield, and did not see any bad results.
