a/t gear illumination light

I have 98 nissan sentra xe.I have problem with the gear illumination light.
It was working some time.Right now it is not liting up at all.
I am thinking to open the console to look at it.How easy it is?.
IS there any site or manual show the picture of it.Thanks for all the reply

I changed the bulb about two years ago....I can't give you much details. I can tell you it took me about 10 mins. I know there are screws holding the center console in place, if you look around the console you will find them. This thread covers some of the specifics about the bulb swap....
