b14 ser clutch question

I just bought a pressure plate (ACT), is it ok to use the oem disc or is it not going to hold up? I heard that the 2000 sentra disc is a little more heavy duty and if that is going to work any better.

i believe you are right. the b15 2.0 clutch disc is thicker than the b14 clutch disc and yet is still compatible with the b14 2.0 5-speed. i think the NPM magazine has an install on this same particular subject.

would probably make a good combination together too.

I know this is a pretty old post but I wanted to chime in and mention that the B15 clutch disk has dual springs compared to the single springs found in the 91-99 2.0 disk.

Better and longer-lasting friction material too.
