will 45mm offset fit?

my 97' 200sx se
i was getting 17x7 QT S10 4X100 and a 45mm offset with 205/40/17 but i wasnt sure if they would fit, i want to make sure so i dont spend 800 bucks for nothing

35-40mm will fit better.

yes i searched...which is why im bringing this thread up. will 40mm offset look as tucked in as my 17"s do right now? i really dislike the rims in this pic and am planning on getting some slipstreams. will 45mm be rediculous, more stress on wheel bearings, have worse handling on my 200sx?
maybe the rims i have would not look so tucked in if it were lowered? (im getting to it i swear)

looks like noone even looks but i found the answer anyways (i think) 40 offset would actually stick out more than the 45 huh?

the lower the offset number, the more it sticks out away from the vehicle center. i have 40's but wanted to push the back ones further out, and so i did with some trak spacers.
