18'' wheels question

i was wanting to get 18's for my 200sx and my friends said it wont clear and it will scrap unless i do some fender work. now can i get 18's without suspension work?

I also had 18 X 7.5" wheels w/ 45mm offset and 215/35-18 Yokohama tires. My car has Eibach sportlines and I had no problems. Where do you friends get their opinions from?

Your friends must drive Honda's. They need to roll fenders a lot and trim metal from inside the wheel well on occasion, but the B14 will accomodate 18's easily with the correct offset, even lowered. Go 4 it.
