Spings for my 200sx se-r

i have a 1998 200sx se-r and in a moment of great weakness and retardness i cut my front spings cause i was broke and i wanted my car lowered in the front cause i thought it looked funny cause the front was higher than the back, so i cut em and now the car rides like CRAP and i am looking into buying eibach lowering springs for it i found em all four for 199.00$ IS THAT A GOOD PRICE AND WILL THE CAR RIDE SMOOTH ? its a 1.4 inch drop

If you replace the springs, you'll have to replace the struts. If you don't, you'll blow the stock ones in short order. Actually, you may already have considering you cut the stock springs down. If you can't afford all of this at once, I'd recommend you just try and buy a used pair of front springs (and struts if needed) off someone within the community.

I have a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs for sale for $100. I cut the top coil off to level it out. The car still rides the same. OR I have a set of Ground Controls for $300.
