Oil cooler mounting location question

I have B&M Trans oil cooler that measures 8.5''H x 11"W x .75" D. Needless to say, this is one big mutha compaired to the other's i've seen for four cylinder cars.

For those who have put an oil cooler on their cars, what direction did you mount it? What I mean is with the in/outlets on the bottm or with them on the bottom or on it's side? The directions one gets with the kit is vauge on this subject.

To me, it stands to reason that if you mount the cooler with the in/outlets facing down, there would be a good chance that you might get some air stuck at the top of the cooler and thus reducing it's efficientcy. But I could be wrong.

Any opinions on this?
