I'm thinking about getting some wheel covers for my 200 and was just wondering what you all thaought about them? Is $40 a good price for them? Do they just fit over the stock cover thats already there? Thanks

did a 97 come with steel wheels?

hmm...if you got steelies, then 40 bux aint a bad price...

wheel covers wont normally fit on a aluminum wheel tho.

im confused, i thought the newer ones came with alloy wheels??

normally, if the only wheels you can put covers on is if it was a steel wheel with a wheel cover from the factory.

you usually cant cover a alloy wheel because thier already designer wheels

understand?

because the rims dont have the lip around the edge like steelies do. so there is nothing for the cover to hold on too. are your alloy's in that bad of shape that you want to cover them up? ouch.

Well, if you want it to be ghettofied.. then you can always rig it up.. either htat or buy steelies.. but if you do that, might as well buy new rims.
