Bad wheel bearings most times make a horrible growling noise. To pin-point which side, just weave left and right, if its noisier turing to the right, then its the left wheel bearing, noisier turning left, its the right one. You can also check for them by lifting the front of the car in the air and grabing the top and bottom of the tire, then rock it up and down, if you can feel a lot af play its junk(make sure the play is from the wheel bearing not the suspension). Question, does it vibrate turing left and right, or just one way?
