I have checked most of the previous posts about B14 fog lights so if this has already been posted I am sorry .
I wanted to know if its possible to throw the top of a relay into the base that is pre-wired into the B14 Sentra , find the pre wired wires , where ever they hang (where do they hang if no fog lights are present?) , wire the aftermarket fog lights to the stock wires and connect the wires to a switch in the car ?
If anyone has a picture of the fog light switch from a 200 SX it would be much appreciated . I think it is on the regular light switch arm but I have never acctually seen one ... Its a universal fit for the arm I believe (not sure) so if I could remove the old arm and put in the new arm , wire it up to the relay and lights and acctually have them work that would be awsome ...
thanks for reading thru this mess

yes, the switch can be swapped out easily. The switch with the fogs has 2 extra wires coming out of it which act like any other open/close switch. You can hook the relay wires to the stock switch just as easily as an aftermarket switch.
I don't remember my last car being completely wired up for an easy fog light install. I would jus use the aftermarket harness and hook up the wires to the stock fog switch like you see above.

That would be a good idea except that the harness that I got with the lights really sucks , the power draw from the battery to the lights at the point they turn on if far to high to be handled by the kit , so every time the fuse blows to prevent damage to the lights . So i figure that by running the current through a relay to the lights i can circumvent the aftermarket harness (as I am told a relay can handle MUCH higher power than the aftermarket kit) and hook up the fog lights to the relay --- the relay to the battery and to the switch hopefully making a stock-working aftermarket fog light kit !

I was thinking about that Pete , but my dad seemed to think that idea was crap ... besides if i can hook it up with nissan parts , all the better

ah cuz its cheap or the fuse is too small or many other things but its deff. the harness cuz you basicly have the same lights as me.

I have tried different sized fuses but that didnt help , onf of the ppl that I know suggested that there might be a splice in the wires somewhere and the + and - wires r touching , but I cant find it
