TRANSMISSION HESITATION?

I have a 1995 nissan sentra with an automatic tranny. And after the transmission gets warmed up it hesitates to go into reverse. But doesn't do it when the transmission is cold. Anyone know what could cause this? And its full of tranny fluid too.

Usually symptoms like yours are due to either low fluid level or degraded fluid (dark color, smells burnt). Do you check the fluid level when the engine is running and the shift selector is in P?

And make sure the tranny is warmed up. In the FSM it says to drive highway speeds for 15 minutes.
