okay im using gc coilovers on my 200sx and now my girl wants to get a set of coilovers for her car too. shes not racing around a whole hell of alot and just wants something thats gonna handle okay. i dont like the idea of using springs cuase of the gap but i dont want to shell out another 400 bucks for a set of coilovers for her though. any ideas of which brands have been holding up. i know the apc's are junk but has anyone had any experience with the ractive or others yet?
i say just go wit the best. get GC again cuz really they are the best ones as far as i heard. you dont want ur lady to be complaining how bumpy her ride is and all that so might as well give her the same as urs.
yo, i got some goldline springs right now which are supposedly made by the same people as eibach and my car rides like ish i think, just get the ground controls, it'll be worth every penny, those are the ones i'm getting now.
Well GC is obviously the best way to go...but what kind of car is your g/f driving? I hear Dropzone Coilovers are OK not too bumpy but worth a lil more than what you're paying. They run for about $150 and they come with a lifetime warranty. If its a Honda, Skunk2 are really nice and they run a lil less $$ than the GC. You want to Stay away from the "A" word......yes "A" word! I think we all know what i'm talking about....Yes AROSPEED! Stay away frm them! AROSPEED IS THE DEVIL!!! lol Hope this helped!
