Decisions, decisions..

Ok well if Im posting this in the wrong section so sue me, cause I dont know if tires/rims will classify under suspension.

Alright, I found a really really good deal on a tire/rim package. The only thing Im stumped about is what size I should get. There's the 195/50/15 or the 205/40/16.

I've read so so much about this topic but I just want someone's opinion for me and my car. =D Starting in September Im going to be a daily driver to school again so something that is good and comfortable is what I need..however, I want something stylish to (anything is better then my 14's haha). I've read that 15's are the best for our cars performance wise, but many people have told me to just get 16's. My car is lowered about 1.5 in the back and it's a little higher in the front (just check out my page).

It's really a decision of what will make the car look better, perform better, and that I'll get the best deal out of.

Any feedback on this I'll really appreciate..because I dont want to end up getting a tire size that I'll hate.

Btw, the tires for these packages are either Falken, Nitto, or Hankook.

In that case I'd definitly go with the 15's. A 40 series tire looks pretty gay on a 16" rim if you ask me, plus it won't ride nearly as nice as a 15" rim with a 50 series.

yeah , but a 195??? you should do some checking into if you can get a 205-50-15 or a 205-45-16 because both of those tire sizes they listed are sold cheaply cause they arent main stream sizes, my guess is they have over stock and wanna get rid of it

I got a 205-45-ZR16 because it has bigger sidewall than a 40series and still looks good. Mine are Toyos though and quite expensive. I didn't look at 15's because I find them a bit too small and 195 was too narrow for me.

Thumbs up

Hmm..well..right now almost any tire is good enough for me to get. im not looking to spend $600 + now because its not worth it (and plus I dont make millions so coming up with that $ will be a challenge hehehe)..why spend all that when the car isnt even tuned under the hood or anywhere yet? Im focusing more under the hood then exterior wise. This is just a little upgrade thatll probably be the only exterior upgrade Ill have for a while. I really thank all of you for you opinions they did help and I appreciate it.

well tires are what is on the road so its an important part of the car. I did about 2 or 3 months research on tires before i bought mine. Night and day over stock.

Good luck with your purchase.
