adjusted tps, now car isnt running right

just like it says, i adjusted the tps to factory spec, (it was way off) and now my throttle is like super sensitive. the slightest tap and it snaps your head back. it is allmost undriveable the way the engine kicks. also when im in nutral and i try to hold a steady rpm, let say 3000 it will stay there for a few seconds then drop to 1000, the back up tp 3000 and so on and so on. what the hell is going on? its in factory specs? i suppose i could always put it back where it was though, what do you guys think?

What method of adjustment did you use?

i put the ohm meter across pins 2 and 3 and measured the resitance, i moved the tps untill it read 50ohm with the throttle closed and 4k ohm with it fully open. i put it back where it was yesterday which is like 150ohm and the car runs fine.

HMM strange, I have used that method and the voltage method to adjust the TPS and both worked perfectly. I wonder if your TPS is on it's way out?
