Question Got Links?

Hi there. I'm new to the Nissan aftermarket community. Maybe someone can help me. I work and go to school... so there's not alotta time for me to work on my car. Because of this, I have to buy what I want and hope I can mount it up on a Sunday. Maybe fellow Sentra lovers can help. Here's what i'm looking for:
GA16DE Valve Cover... I dont have time to paint my own. Looking for someone who sells them.
Trunk Bar... Ugly red reflector. Id like to find Carbon Fiber.
A/T Shift Knob... Its hard to find one that fits our cars shift shaft.
Lexan Glass... I want to lighten my car up. Cant find Lexan anywhere.

Also, has anyone performed a battery trunk mount? I have the kit from Summit Racing ($40), but i'd still like to know how somebody else did it.

Any help would be awesome. I'll try to get what I can and take some before and after pics. I'm going to attempt to mold a functional hood scoop in order to help keep temps down.

Thanks for the links if anybody can give me some.

WOW... Love has to be a requirement for a car that clean.
Quick questions... where is your battery mounted? It looks like its behind the front seat or something like that. Also... What is required for the trunk mount? I have a kit, but I was told that I would need to re-ground my crankcase and all kinds of crap.
Lastly, is your valve cover plastic or aluminum?

ive been looking for a carbon fiber piece to replace the reflector on the trunk my self, but i dont think there is such thing. people just take a piece of sticky carbon fiber film and put it over the reflector, i could be wrong though but thats what most people do.

^nismo, you dont have the right to call a newb a dumbass considering you ask so of the most asked question and then don't listen to our advice...

to answer the real question, if you want a polished alumunum vc you can get the off ebay almost every week but run around 75-80, or look in the classified section because i believe a member is getting rid of one, you can also get the center truck piece on ebay or from a member

Nismo1997, would you mind telling us where we can get ahold of a carbon fiber trunk bar?
As far as the valve cover... im not too fond of the polished aluminum look. I know that sr20de's have got aftermarket valve covers that come in different colors (red, blue - standard colors). I was just wondering if anybody knew where I could go to get one for a 1.6. I might just have the whole thing shaved!
Im still looking for an A/T shift knob that has an O/D switch, yet fits over the fat shaft that Nissans come with (15mm o.d.?).

you can't get the ga16de in different colors, you have to paint the plastic ones or if its aluminum get it power coated... you can get the center piece from PEOPLE SELLING THEM IN THE CLASSIFIED SECTION OR EBAY, thats where most people get them or they got to a junk yard and pull them off an se-l... with the se20 motor there is different types of valve covers because there is like 3 or 5 different types of sr20 motors..

I don't know of any real carbon fiber trunk trim pieces.
Nismo1997, I'd like to see some detailed pics.

EDIT: I just checked out your cardomain page.
I don't think this is real carbon fiber....

Most people paint the OEM one, or pick up the dark (carbon look) one.

its not real carbon fiber, you can tell by looking.. look at a real carbo fiber hood then look at that, you will see a big difference, but it still looks nice..

How much will the shipping cost?

Also, What did you need to do the trunk mount?
I have + & - cables, batt. box, mounting brackets... all the basics. Is that all I need? I know the questions might be annoying, but one more... Where did you run your cables? I would think that running the cables under the chassis might be dangerous.

Lightbulb

Thanx for everyones help with the trunk bar, but I just had a pretty sweet idea (methinks). Lemme know what you think:

>Im going to mold a scoop into the hood. So, I think that i'll use white wire mesh (G2 - $35) for the hood, grill, and whatever new front dam that I get.
>In order to match the front with the rear, i'm going to paint the trunk bar white so that it will match.
>My car is that off burgundy (burnt maroon)... you know what im talking about. I want to paint the car a clean Cherry Red or a real crisp Royal Blue.
>After I mod the brakes (all wheel nx2k disc-n-calipers), than I will paint the calipers to match the body, but Ill sport the white wheels (not sure who to go with) with red or blue center "rings" (who makes those?).

If anybody else can see it the way I picture it, than give me a shout. My concern is this: will the trunk bar be okay if it's white? Or, should I just keep it simple with body matching?
