engine vibration (MOTOR MOUNT) maybe?

i hear a slight vibration sometimes when i let off the gas and the clutch. For example when im slowing down to a light and i just let it ride in second gear at about 2500-1500rpms, and i hear this vibration coming from the motor, and thats the only time i hear it. All i have is a front and rear strutbar, but i can not figure out where it is coming from, i also took out the strut bar to check and i still hear it. Is there anything that i should check for, PLEASE HELP!
thanks

may be motor mount... does your strut bar contact your hood?

I'd venture to guess it's the STB too. Check the hood at about the point where it's above the STB and see if some of the paint is rubbed off or there's a slight dent.

To check ur motor mounts simply drop it in first and if it goes into gear hard like a huge jump of the block then ur front mount is no good, for the rear mount as soon as u put it in reverse hit the gas light if it jumps hard then ur rear mount is no good.

Sorry i can't diagnose ur problem, thats a have to feel it to know it problem, vibrations can be from anything from a dist cap, to a bad connection.

yeah just jack up the car and look. if it looks like the rubber is popping out its probably not serviceable.

Do you have a press? If not buy the inserts and have a machine shop or a garage press them in for you. If you want to save a few dollars you could probally torch the old ones out.

Well, when my mounts started to go, i got quoted a few hundred bucks for the set of four. I just bought the mtr mount set from sr20dev for $100. Had to take it to a shop for the install, and vibrates a lot more than stock, but worth it performance wise..and money wise. Just a suggestion. BTW, it was a bitch getting in contact with sr20dev.
